Russians will not be able to vote for Putin on the territory of Ukraine

On Sunday, March 18, on the day of the Russian president's election, Russian citizens in Ukraine will not be admitted to the embassies and consulates of Russia in Kiev, Kharkov, Odessa and Lviv. This is stated in the official statement of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine.

As stated in the statement, in accordance with the note of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry on February 21, Ukraine pronounced a resolute protest to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia and demands not to hold presidential elections in the temporarily occupied Crimea and Sevastopol. Voting in diplomatic and consular missions of Russia in Ukraine will be possible only if Russia fully meets this requirement.
